Jamie Sumner, Editor in Chief
I’m Jamie Sumner, the Editor in chief here at Atlanta Families — I’ve had that maternal instinct ever since I was a young girl. In fact, I became a full-time live-nanny at 17 and felt as if I’d landed my dream job. It was hard to believe I got to play mother to children and get paid for it too. These days I play mother to my own four children, and my goal is to be there for them instead of paying a nanny to do the job.

Do you know what that means?  I’ve found my passion working from home as the Chief Editor at Atlanta Families. Now I get to share the wealth of knowledge that I’ve accumulated from my many years of childcare with other mothers, and be a stay at home mom. That’s what I call living the dream. In my role as Chief Editor, I make sure we bring you informative content that makes your life as a parent a lot less stressful. From reviews on the latest baby products to guides on how to potty train, we’re here to help.

Grace Walters, Social Media Manager
Thank you for being part of our community here at Atlanta Families. I’m Grace, the social media expert around here. That may make you think that I spend all my time looking at funny memes on Facebook. I’m not going to lie; I do enjoy a cute baby meme. But more than that, I want to spread the word about Atlanta Families because I believe in what we do for you. I got involved with the website after reading the blog and finding a few great products to help me out when I was a new mom.

The information was like getting new tools for my mommy toolbox. I was so relieved to find Atlanta Families that I started spreading the word before I became an official team member. Now I’m fully committed to helping Atlanta Families grow our vibrant community and share our informational how-to guides and product reviews with as many parents as we can reach through our social media channels. Please like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram, and add us to Pinterest to keep up to date on all the news and reviews!

Rachel Butler, Research Analyst
I’m Rachel, the head of research and reviews here at Atlanta Families. Just like Grace; I love children. The thing is, I’m fond of research too, and particularly taken with anything that makes life easier. Life with children requires a whole lot of planning and patience. Here’s the thing, when you have the right equipment, it makes having patience much easier.

I know from experience because I got into researching baby care products after a stroller failed while we way too far from the car. Let me tell you, strollers are not all created equal, and it’s essential to read up before making a purchase. That’s why I’m excited to write reviews on the best strollers, cribs, and bedding, toys and kids entertainment, diapers, changing tables, backpacks, and more. If there’s a baby product you want us to review, please let us know!
